On Sunday, June 8, Dacorum police shared that officers were dealing with a disturbance in Jarman Way, Hemel Hempstead.
Residents reported seeing two people “fighting” in a physical altercation outside Tesco. The incident prompted a significant police response, with multiple emergency vehicles spotted at the scene.
Dacorum police shared that there were closures in place around Jarman Park and also asked people to avoid the area.
On Monday, June 9, Hertfordshire police shared: “Police were called to Jarman Way, Hemel Hempstead at around 3.30pm on Sunday, June 8 to report a disturbance.
“Officers attended and a 37-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody at this time.
“A 37-year-old woman from Hemel Hempstead was arrested on suspicion of affray and has since been bailed while enquiries are continuing.”
