Pinner High School narrowly missed out on being named as the Secondary School of the Year award last month, after they were nominated as one of the eight schools to be shortlisted during the TES awards.
However, headteacher Chris Woolf was still full of praise for the whole of the school’s community for getting that far in the competition.
He said: “Being the only school in the whole of London, and one of just eight schools in the country selected in this way when there are more than 4,000 in the country in a huge honour.
“The award was won by Heartlands E-ACT Academy; many congratulations to them. To even be considered for this prestigious award is an extraordinary achievement, and I would like to thank our whole community for their support.”
