A team from Manor View Practice in Bushey presented a check of £13,881 to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) on Tuesday, November 5.

A team of 18 dedicated runners from the surgery embarked on an extraordinary challenge to run 100km throughout September.

The practice shared: “For many of our participants, this challenge was more than just a physical feat. It was a deeply personal journey, as some had family members who had received treatment at GOSH.

“The exceptional care and support provided by the hospital left a lasting impact, inspiring our team to give back and support this remarkable institution.”

The funds raised will go towards GOSH’s mission to provide world-class care to seriously ill children and support their families during challenging times.

The practice added: “This experience has not only raised funds for a worthy cause but has also strengthened our team spirit and reinforced our commitment to giving back to the community.

“We are filled with pride and gratitude, knowing that our collective efforts will help give seriously ill children the best chance at a brighter future.”
