An Abbots Langley man has appeared in court after being charged with sexual assault and assaulting a police officer. Thomas Wheeler, 29, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, November 16, for a pre-trial hearing.
He was charged with one count of sexual assault on a female and common assault of an emergency worker. At a previous hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on October 19, he pleaded not guilty or did not enter a plea.
The incidents are alleged to have taken place on June 29, 2019, in the town of Sittingbourne, Kent.
