Fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken is remaining tight-lipped over claims that it will be taking over the former TSB bank on Sycamore Road.
But numerous documents which are publicly available seem to confirm that the fried chicken specialists will be moving in.
Drawings of a plan submitted at the end of last month are labelled Project KFC and another document bears the logo of the fast-food chain.
An environmental noise survey and noise impact assessment submitted at the end of March also says KFC on its front page.
The prospect of KFC arriving in Amersham has divided locals with some concerned the restaurant will lead to an increase in noise and litter. Others have welcomed the new jobs that will be brought to the area.
AmershamNews reached out to KFC.
A spokesperson said: “We hate to keep our fans waiting but can’t reveal anything just yet…Watch this space.”
