‘POSITIVE REPORT’: Northwood scanner centre rated ‘good’ by Care Quality Commission

Smiles and joy echoed through the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, based in Northwood, after it shared news of a recent inspection.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) reconfirmed the scanner centre’s “Good” rating, which was reflected by its commitment to delivering diagnostic imaging services to patients across the region.

The achievement underscores the team’s dedication, passion, and commitment to patient care and service provision.The inspection rated the Centre as “Good” overall and in these areas: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.

Claire Strickland, chief executive of Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, said: “We are delighted to have our ‘Good’ rating reaffirmed by the CQC. Our team is completely dedicated to providing high-quality care for our patients, and receiving such a positive report from the CQC is very encouraging.
