Gerrards Cross has three new Lib Dem councillors following a by-election on December 7.
Diane Holden, Gerry Clare and Rosa Mancer are the newest councillors at Gerrards Cross Town Council, which was previously an all-Conservative council.
The by-election was held after Conservative councillors resigned in protest at how the remaining councillors had allegedly treated the previous Mayor of Gerrards Cross.
Councillor Rosa Mancer will represent Gerrards Cross North Ward after winning 359 votes. She has lived in Gerrards Cross with her family for 20 years and believes the community deserves a town council that prioritises results over politics.
Councillor Gerry Clare will also represent Gerrards Cross North Ward after winning 354 votes. He is an ophthalmologist currently working at Moorfields Eye Hospital, having received training as a military doctor during his decorated 20-year service. He wants to help the town council with healthcare services, road safety, and environmental issues.
Councillor Diane Holden will represent Gerrards Cross East Ward after winning 105 votes. She has lived in Gerrards Cross for 37 years and volunteers with various organisations in South Bucks.
