Police investigating a theft in a store in North Watford are releasing a CCTV image of a man who they wish to speak to as part of their investigation into the incident. The theft occurred just after 6.15pm on Wednesday, December 11 in the Waitrose service station in St Albans Road (A412). The offender entered the store and concealed items on their person before leaving without making any attempt to pay. PCSO Karl Walford is investigating the incident and said: “I would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have witnessed the theft or have information that could be vital to the investigation. “If you recognise the man pictured, or if you recognise yourself, please contact me immediately.” Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO Walford via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, citing crime reference number C4/13/2639. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
