Police are re-releasing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a theft that happened in Rickmansworth in September in an attempt to jog people’s memories. The offence took place on Thursday, September 12 at 7.10pm in the BP Express Service Station on Uxbridge Road. The offender entered the shop, placed alcohol and food into a bag and then left in the direction of Church Lane. Officers would like to speak to the man pictured in relation to the incident. It is possible that he witnessed the theft or may be able to offer assistance in the investigation. PC Christian Gottman, who is investigating, said: “I would appeal to the man pictured to make contact with me as he may have vital information in relation to this incident. “If you recognise yourself, or if someone else believes they know the identity of this man, please contact me as soon as possible.” Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Christian Gottman via Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C2/13/1785.
