Officers are releasing CCTV images in connection with a robbery that occurred in Watford. The offence happened in McColls on Tolpits Lane at 10.45pm on Thursday, March 6. A man entered the shop, brandished a knife and threatened a member of the public. He then approached the till, removed cash and made off towards Croxley View. No one was injured during the incident. Detective Sergeant Jo Goodson from the Local Crime Unit in Watford said: “We’d like to speak to the man pictured in connection with this incident as he may be able to assist us with our enquiries. “Whilst his face is not visible in the image, it is likely someone may be able to identify him through the clothing he is wearing, in particular the distinctive jacket. If this is you, or you can identify the man pictured, please contact police as soon as possible.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Jo Goodson via Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C1/14/1001.
