Police in Watford yesterday (Thursday October 2nd) arrested a further three men as part of their pro – active approach to tackling football violence. The men were arrested on suspicion of affray and include: A 24 year old man from Carpender’s Park. A 24 –year old man from College Road, Abbots Langley. A 24 year –old man from Watford. All three men are currently in police custody. The arrest phase follows the arrest of eight men on suspicion of affray on Tuesday night ( September 30th) when an altercation broke out in Watford town centre following Watford FC’s game against Brentford. Those arrested included: A 24 year old man from Watford who has been bailed until November 8th. A 20 year old man from Acton who has been bailed until November 9th. An 18 year old man from Watford who has been bailed until November 8th. A 26 year old man from Bushey who has been ben bailed until November 8th. A 17 year old male from Isleworth who has been bailed until November 9th. A 28 year old man from Watford who has been bailed until November 8th.
