A man and a woman were arrested in the act of a suspected drug deal taking place in Croxley Green.
Shortly before 1.45pm on Friday, July 9, officers from the Three Rivers Operation Scorpion team were conducting active unmarked patrols in the area when they observed the incident.
A 36-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were searched as well as two vehicles, a Toyota Corolla and a Volkswagen Polo.
As a result, they seized an extendable baton and a quantity of suspected Class A drugs (cocaine) under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The woman, from Rickmansworth, was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and possession of an offensive weapon. She received a caution for possession of Class A and has been released under investigation for the possession of an offensive weapon offence.
The man, from Hatfield, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
