Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident in South Oxhey.
Officers are investigating the circumstances of how, at just before 9.30pm on Saturday, June 23, a woman, aged in her 20s, was located on Little Oxhey Lane, with cuts to her head and feet.
A 39-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Lee Whale, who is investigating, said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the Little Oxhey Lane area and witnessed this incident to get in touch.
“It is believed those involved were known to each other. “If you are able to help, please get in touch by email via lee.whale@herts.police.uk.”
