Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Radlett.

Between 5pm on Tuesday, August 3 and 6.15pm on Wednesday, August 4, a property in Shenley Hill was broken into, with offenders carrying out a messy search before jewellery was taken.

The jewellery is of great sentimental value. One of the items taken was a Rolex watch with the inscription ‘Happy 21st Birthday’ on the back.

Detective Constable Tilly Parker, who is investigating, said: “Did you see anything suspicious in Shenley Hill on Tuesday or Wednesday of last week?

“Have you seen the items pictured for sale or do you have information which could assist the investigation?

“If you are able to help, I can be contacted directly via email at tilly.parker@herts.police.uk
