Published on: 13th February 2020   |   By: Tim Green   |   Category: Uncategorized

Police officers are looking to trace an offender who took hundreds of pounds from Ladbrokes betting shop on Bushey Mill Lane on 20 January.

At around 9.45 pm the individual entered the betting shop and demanded money from staff before taking off with hundreds of pounds in an unknown direction.

Officers have released CCTV images of a man who might be able to help their enquiries into what happened on the night. No arrests have been made yet, but enquiries remain ongoing.

Detective Inspector Jason Finnegan from the Watford Local Crime Unit said: “The offender is believed to have been carrying a weapon so it’s really important that we find them.”

“I appreciate the quality of the CCTV is not great but if you think you might recognise the man in the photos please let us know.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or suspicious behaviour in the area. If you can help please contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Jonathan Holmes at jonathan.holmes2@herts.pnn.police.uk or by calling the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference 41/6125/20.”
