Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in Watford where a motorist failed to stop.
Shortly after 9pm on Thursday April 8, a woman was walking across Aldenham Road, near the junction with Pinner Road, when she was involved in a collision with a dark coloured vehicle.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Sergeant Timothy Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “This is a busy junction and we believe that several people may have witnessed the collision and not yet been in contact with police. As our enquiries continue to establish the circumstances around this collision, I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or events leading up to it, to please get in touch.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area around the time specified that has a dash cam fitted to their vehicle. Even something that may seem minor or insignificant could be key to helping us progress the investigation.”
Anyone with information can contact Sergeant Davies directly via email at timothy.davies@herts.pnn.police.uk.
