Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as part of continuing investigations into a collision on the A41 North Western Avenue in Watford.

The collision occurred near West Drive, at around 6.40am on Tuesday, October 18, and involved a blue Ford Focus and a blue Yamaha motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 56-year-old man, suffered serious injuries to his foot.

PC Gavin Craig, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “Our investigations into the collision are continuing at this time and, as part of this, we are appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.

“The area was heavy with traffic at the time, so it’s likely people would have seen what happened, but no witnesses stopped at the scene and no one has contacted police to date.

“If you do have information, or captured anything of note on a dash cam, please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to please email gavin.craig@herts.police.uk
