Published on: 25th March 2026   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Featured

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information as part of continuing inquiries into an incident in Watford, and are keen to trace a man who was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.

It was reported that an altercation occurred between a group of people in Forest Road, at around 4.50pm on Thursday, March 5.

A man aged in his early 20s then left the scene in a black BMW and presented at an address with non-life-threatening injuries, believed to be stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

Detectives launched an investigation, speaking with witnesses, conducting house-to-house inquiries and reviewing CCTV opportunities.

Following these inquiries, a public appeal for information is now being released to try and trace a male who was seen leaving the area on a pedal bike shortly after the incident occurred. If this is you, or you have any information about who this person might be, please contact us.

We would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured CCTV or dash cam footage of this male. We appreciate this incident will cause concern among the community.

While we are still working to establish the circumstances, we believe those involved are known to each other. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your local officers.
