Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery at a shop in Watford on Sunday, March 15. At around 7.15am three men, who had their faces covered, went into the One Stop Shop in North Approach through the front door. They then threatened and assaulted two members of staff before taking money. The robbers are described as three black males who had scarves or something similar covering their faces. Detective Constable Marius Edghill said: “Whilst thankfully no members of staff were seriously injured this was a terrifying ordeal and I would urge anyone who has any information about who may have been involved to contact me without delay. “If you were in the early yesterday morning and saw anything suspicious I would also like to hear from you.” Anyone who has any information about what happened should contact DC Edghill via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C4/15/561. Alternatively, if you do not wish to give your name, please call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
