Two playful dogs caused carnage on Belmont Circle on Tuesday, September 24, when Harrow Police were made aware that the troublesome pair were running in and out of traffic.
Luckily, officers quickly spotted the dogs and were able to retrieve them, keeping both the animals and road users safe.
The dogs were later returned to their relieved owners.
The escaped canines were just one incident in a busy month for Harrow Police.
Earlier in the month, Stanmore officers were made aware of a group of people using their cars in an anti-social manner and driving without due care and attention in the Sainsbury’s car park.
The police then issued Section 59 Warning Notices under the Police Reform Act 2002 to all three drivers involved, which is given to anyone driving in a way which causes alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public.
