An artist from Northwood has released a series of videos to document his artistic journey.
Jonathan Hutchins, who has been painting on and off since 1973, has created five videos documenting different phases of his art.
The videos have been made in collaboration with videographer David Wheeler and capture different exhibitions over the years.
Speaking in one of the videos, titled Nudes: An aesthetic adventure, which depicts his time painting at Harrow Arts Centre, Jonathan said: “These paintings represent 20 years of working at Harrow Arts Centre. I have been attending public art classes since March 2000, so these paintings are the best of maybe over 300 paintings I have done over that period.
“What I’m trying to do with the paintings I do is to somehow give the presence of the model, so when someone looks at the painting, they can see I was in front of that model.”
