A pupil from a school in Kings Langley has neem recognised for her submission to a photography competition designed to raise awareness of substance abuse.
Ellie a Year 12 student at Kings Langley School (KLS) won the competition hosted by Apsley-based charity Druglink.
Entrants of the competition were asked to produce creative imagery which could be used to capture the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on everyday people.
On winning the competition Ellie was presented with an Amazon voucher by Tara Lock from Druglink, as well as a Photobox voucher and photography equipment from KLS leader for arts Mr Tubb.
A tweet on the KLS Twitter page praised Ellie on her victory.
The tweet read: “Congratulations to Ellie in Yr12 Photography who won the recent Druglink competition. Her fantastic work will support her growing professional portfolio.”
Ellie’s photos will be used in marketing material and social media for Druglink.
