A family-run farm in Amersham that has bred micro-pigs for more than a decade has won a prestigious award.
The Prestige Award, which celebrates small- and medium-sized businesses is one of the many accolades that Kew has gathered in recent years.
Kew’s ethical breeding practices were hailed by judges at Prestige for their commitment to animal welfare.
The farm has also just opened a new barn where visitors can interact with the pigs regardless of the weather.
The farm’s owner and founder, Olivia Mikhail, stated: “We are a hard-working team, and while we don’t do this for awards, it is lovely to be recognised in this way. Since the pandemic life, Kew
Little Pigs has certainly been a rebuilding process, but we have come back fighting, and awards like this are such a boost for myself and our excellent staff.”
