PAWFECT: Successful day out for annual Radlett Dog Show

Published on: 17th September 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

It was another successful year of the Radlett Dog Show hosted by Paws for Thought that saw thousands gather for the annual event at Battlers Green Farm.

The show was first created last year as a way to help support charities that work with dogs and the positive effect and impact, they have on human lives.

The 2019 show was held in support of Street Vet, an organisation who deliver free care to the homeless and their dogs throughout the UK.

The bond between many homeless people and their dogs is profound and the health and well-being of their furry companions is often a major priority for their owners.

Event organiser for Paws for Thought, Danielle, said: “Last year was our first year of the Radlett Dog Show and it was so successful, we wanted to do it again and the day was absolutely amazing, we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout, there was over 2,000 people.

“The reason we’ve been doing this is to raise money for smaller charities that aren’t well known but are local and its great family Sunday out.

“We’d like to thank everyone who attended and I hope that if you came, you had a wonderful time, and to all of our volunteers who took time out of their day  to be there, a massive thank you to them.”
