A leisure centre in Garston has been recognised for its excellence following a thorough assessment by Sport England’s leading national quality scheme, Quest.
Woodside Leisure Centre, managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Watford Borough Council, was for the second time awarded the status of ‘Outstanding’, the highest Quest ranking.
The award recognises the consistently high-quality services delivered by staff and the top-class facilities on offer to customers at the centre.
Gary Foley, Everyone Active’s contract manager, said: “We are really proud to have achieved outstanding ranking and this is a testament to the ongoing hard work and passion of our colleagues to providing a top-class service.”
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “We are very proud that Woodside is being recognised in this way. We have worked really closely with the team at Everyone Active to invest in excellent facilities for everyone. I know that they always go above and beyond to engage with the community and help improve, not just our physical health, but mental wellbeing as well.”
