A Bushey physiotherapist has been recognised for the exceptional care she provides to patients.
Jo Dyson, who works at Spire Bushey Hospital, won an Inclusive Recognition of Inspirational Staff (IRIS) award for redeveloping pelvic health services.
Thanks to her proactive approach, the hospital now provides a comprehensive range of pelvic health services, including care for men’s health and bowel health.
Jo’s dedication, calm professionalism and collaborative spirit have made a profound impact on both her colleagues and her patients and ensured a consistently high standard of care.
Jo said: “I am delighted to have been selected for an IRIS award, having been nominated by my manager, and I’m really touched by all the kind comments and support from my colleagues.
“Spire has supported me in my endeavour to develop the pelvic health physiotherapy service, which has enabled me to provide the breadth of service now available at Bushey.”
Julia Salmon, hospital director for Spire Bushey, said: “Jo exemplifies the outstanding, compassionate care we strive to provide for our patients. We are incredibly proud to have her as part of our team.”
