Opticians in Croxley Green celebrates its 40th anniversary

Published on: 2nd May 2019   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

David and Jennifer Brower celebrated their 40th anniversary of opening their optical practice at 140 Watford Road, Croxley Green late last year.

Optometrist David and his wife Jennifer, a multi award winning dispensing optician, first opened its doors on October 3, 1978.

The shop they moved into was originally a former baker’s shop in an area which had never seen an opticians’ before.

Jennifer said: “The eye examination is not only about prescribing spectacles, we also check the health of the eye. It is so important to have regular eye checks, at least every two years, to ensure continuing good eye health.

“We offer a whole range of eye care, including contact lenses, low vision aids for helping patients with partial sight, and stock a wide range of sports and leisure eyewear.”

David commented: “We set out to offer the highest level of professional eye care and personal service to the residents of Croxley Green.”

Jennifer added: “And we are proud to be able to say that we have kept that promise for forty years.

“I think the reason why we have run successfully for so long is because we offer a very personal service and we treat each client like an individual.

“We would like to thank our patients for their valued support over the years and look forward too many more.

“It has been a pleasure to serve the local community for so many years and we would like to thank our patients for their continued support.”
