A trial date for four people accused of murdering a man in Bushey has been set for June 27 this year.

44-year-old Vishal Gohel (pictured) was discovered unresponsive inside a flat in High Street, Bushey, at around 10.45pm on Sunday, January 23. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Today (Tuesday, February 8), at a brief hearing at St Albans Crown Court, Judge Richard Foster set the trial date and said there would be a plea hearing on March 30.

Those charged with Mr Gohel’s murder are:

Tianna Edwards-Hancock, aged 18, of Fresh Wharf Road, Barking; Tervin Leslie, aged 21, of Hurst Street, London SE24; Georgia Bruce-Annan, aged 20, of Harts Lane, in Barking, and Faith Hoppie, aged 21, of Blake Avenue, Barking.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, from the BCH Major Crime Unit said: “While we have now charged four people with murder, we are still keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.

“Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any information, no matter how small it might seem, it could be vital for our investigation.”

Specially trained officers are supporting Vishal’s family, who have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
