A Turkish takeaway restaurant in Little Chalfont has been placed on the shortlist for a national award celebrating Turkish restaurants.
Mangal Express, located on Nightingales Corner in the village, is one of 10 takeaways nominated at the Turkish Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (TURTA), specifically in the category of Best Regional Takeaway.
The restaurant, which operates both dine-in and takeaway services, is now to compete with is compatriots for the title, with the winner being announced at a special ceremony at the Sheraton Park Lane hotel in London on Sunday, November 5.
Posting on social media, TURTA said: “Exciting news! We’re gearing up for the second TURTA Awards on November 5 at Sheraton Park Lane.
“Your vote matters! Please vote to honour the best in the culinary world.”
