The Pinner Safer Neighbourhood Team found something unusual when conducting a recent weapons sweep.
In a post shared on the MPS Harrow Instagram page, the team said: “People do all sorts of things in car parks; they also discard all sorts of things in them too.
“So just in case one of those things happened to be a weapon, Pinner South SNT officers conducted a weapons sweep of Love Lane car park, Pinner.
“As expected, no weapons were found, but we did find a large canister of nitrous oxide of the gold standard variety, used by a person(s) happy to risk paralysis, brain damage or even death so they could experience a temporary state of euphoria.”
In other news, it was reported on Harrow Online that a concerned resident had discovered discarded medical equipment which is suspected to be linked to drug abuse at Pinner Station car park.
