A new coffee shop opened on Rickmansworth High Street last week, creating eight jobs in the local area.
The Starbucks store officially opened its doors to coffee lovers on Wednesday, November 10 and is the only Starbucks within five miles of the town, with the next closest store being in Watford.
The store has already created eight new jobs in the area with more opportunities and openings expected at the popular chain.
Store Manager, Nisha Khimji, who started her Starbucks journey as a barista then worked up to store manager in the space of a year, said: “We can’t wait to start welcoming people into the store and become part of the local community.
“The team will continue to closely follow the latest guidance from both the Government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”
On the opening week, 50 lucky customers were treated to complimentary reusable cups for their hot beverages.
Starbucks is based at 145-147 High Street and is open from 7am-6pm Monday to Saturday and 8am-5pm on Sundays.
