A group of big cat investigators are on high alert after multiple sightings of a mysterious creature in Amersham and the surrounding area.
The Big Cats of Chiltern Area (BCoCA) Facebook page announced on October 16 that they had received reports of a “black leopard-like cat in fields within the East Amersham area”.
A few days later on October 20, BCoCA reported that there had been another two sightings of a large “labrador-sized black cat” in the north and east of Chesham.
Local resident David Taylor captured a photo of an unidentified creature in woods near Seer Green. At first, David believed the animal to be a dog, but was struck by the unusual shape of the animal’s tail.
BCoCA claims to have had more than five reports of a black, panther-like animal crossing London Road in Amersham in the past.
