After a relatively quiet January, Chorleywood Bookshop is starting up its author visits once again, with a busy February filled with a variety of literary figures coming to visit.

First up is trusted NHS GP and food expert Dr. Rupy Aujla, whose new book Cooks features more than 100 recipes that value nutrition and flavour first. This event will be at Chorleywood Memorial Hall on February 13.

This will be followed by an evening with Georgina Moore, who will be talking about her debut novel, The Garnett Girls, at the bookshop on February 16.

On February 20, BBC Radio 4’s resident money expert, Paul Lewis, will be at the Memorial Hall to share tips about how we can manage our money. His new book, Money Box, aims to give tools to balance your budget and manage your money as effectively as possible.

Then, on February 28, best selling mystery novelist Janice Hallett, described as “the queen of tricksy crime” by The Sunday Times, will be at the bookshop to discuss her latest thriller, The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels.

Three events are also already lined up for March, with a talk from crime fiction authors Louise Candlish and Tim Weaver on March 7, an event with novelist Rachel Rhys on March 21 and an evening with leading menopause expert Dr. Louise Newson on March 27.
