Stanmore College students received a boost this month when Aventus Accountants and Business Advisors worked with them to give five new laptops to students.
Aventus Accountants is a fast-growing accountancy and finance business that provides a wide range of services across industries and sectors, and they have decided to help Stanmore College to secure futures through education.
One lucky existing Stanmore College student, Namra Asghar, was present to be the first to receive one of the laptops.
She said: “I was delighted to receive a laptop from Aventus, even though I’m a 17-year-old student and not working there. It will help me to participate in class, complete practice papers and revise. I was also told that there will be an opportunity to gain experience there post COVID-19, and I can’t wait.”
There are currently five former Stanmore College students to become employees at Aventus, and further real-life jobs and apprenticeships are emerging for them too.
