Since its inception in 2009, the awards, held at the prestigious The Grove hotel, have celebrated heroes who have played an integral part in the community.
In the past, we have honoured people from all over our news patches whose dedication to making their communities better for everyone is deserving of commendation.
The Fundraiser of the Year award is given to an individual whose achievements deserve to be celebrated.
At the last MyLocalHero event in 2022, Amelia Dormer collected the award after raising £40,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of her son Sammy.
