Northwood Choral Society is preparing to host its upcoming spring concert next month, An Evening with Brahms.
The event hosted by musical director Edward Longstaff promises to highlight musical progress made by the choir over the past term.
The concert will feature a German composition, Brahms Requiem, and bring families and friends together on Sunday, March 29 for an evening focused on enjoyment. The programme is expected to start at 7.30pm at St John’s United Reformed Church.
Rehearsals have taken place with performers working to perfect the “deeply human and consoling masterpiece”. The spring concert is set to be a celebration, offering audiences an opportunity to support musicians and the results of their dedication.
