Local residents will be delighted to hear that the popular Music in Pinner Series (MPS) is back this month, featuring a host of musicians and artists.
From Saturday, September 21, visitors can enjoy eight concerts hosted over seven months at St John’s Pinner Parish Church, with the January concert hosted by Pinner United Synagogue.
The series will feature four jazz gigs, from New Orleans and trad jazz through to mainstream and contemporary. There will also be four classical concerts, including a charity concert with violin and piano, a clarinet celebration, and two piano trios. Hear music from Bach, Beethoven, Debussy and more, along with words from Paul Robertson.
Director Anthony Pinching said: “I think you will agree, this is quite some season ahead. We look forward to seeing you!
“This season at MPS, we probably have the most varied mix of highly entertaining concerts yet – with outstanding, internationally recognised artists bringing their music and musicianship to Pinner.”
Tickets cost £17 and are available online at
www.musicinpinner.org.uk or on door.
