A Rickmansworth-based auction house has offered music lovers the chance to own iconic pieces of history.
Propstore auctions memorabilia from film, TV and music, with their latest auction taking place in London from October 23 to 24.
Highlights include John Lennon’s tinted glasses, the white fedora worn by Michael Jackson in his Smooth Criminal video, and an original pair of Elvis Presley’s sunglasses.
The second day of the auction will consist of a collection of Oasis memorabilia, from handwritten lyrics and setlists to an autographed drumhead and limited edition prints.
The star of the show, however, is Noel Gallagher’s red Gibson ES-355 guitar, which was damaged by his brother Liam on the night Oasis broke up in 2009. The guitar was later restored and will be sold with a signed note from Noel confirming its authenticity. It is estimated to sell for up to £500,000.
