A mural adding a splash of colour to Kings Langley was unveiled towards the start of September.

The mural located on a disused toilet block in Green Park was created by resident Ruby Lewis with the help of children from the village.

On September 6 a ribbon cutting ceremony took place to unveil the mural which had been worked on over the summer months.

Ruby said she was blown away by the finished product and wanted to thank everyone who made her project a reality.

She said: “I’d like to really thank all the children again who took the time to paint the most beautiful designs and the parents for supporting such a wonderful project.

“Really hope it brings as much joy to everyone in the village as it has to be me seeing it all being created.”

Ruby also thanked local businesses; Sweet as a Button, Oscar’s Pizza Company, and Dalling & Co for donating refreshments for the unveiling party.
