Radlett is set to host its first café bridge event on 24 March, in aid of Make Sense of It (MSOI) Multiple Sclerosis support and research.
The day will consist of the bridge game being played at different restaurants in Radlett, and participants will move to a new restaurant with each round of the game.
Suzanne Anisfeld, from Radlett, decided to organise a café bridge event in the village after attending and enjoying a bridge event herself.
She said: “I am a very keen bridge player. I have been similar events and they are so much fun. It made me want to organise my own for the community.”
Proceeds will go to MSOI which provides funding for a MS society funded research project and grants for those currently living with MS.
The café bridge event will be hosted at eight locations in Radlett including The Broadwick, Aamcha Eastern Kitchen, Isot, Bannermans and Pizza Express, where attendees can eat, drink and play bridge whilst raising money for a good cause.
The event will end at The Red Lion Pub, where the bridge competition winners will be presented with trophies and there will be raffle prizes up for grabs like theatre vouchers, donated by Radlett Centre.
