A Bushey resident who founded a fitness initiative last year is pushing himself to the limit to raise vital funds for charity, with his next challenge taking place in Watford.
David Baum, from Bushey, founded Move For Wellness at the start of 2021 to encourage people to get people moving to help focus on their physical and mental health.
Last year, he raised a total of £10,000 for two projects: a Talking Café, where people suffering can receive free help from councillors; and a new concept called Oasis of Calm, offering sensory rooms for people feeling overwhelmed by their emotions.
David, who humorously wears a tutu during his challenges, is inviting residents join him and his Move For Wellness team for a six hour ‘endurathon’ on Sunday, March 27, at The Gym Watford.
You can saddle up with David by making a donation of £10. Don a tutu and help the Move For Wellness team continue on their path to raise £365,000.
Join in on a bike, treadmill or rower for any length of time – from 30 minutes to the full six hours.
Please contact David on 07861 386466 to register your place.
