Teachers from St Helen’s School in Northwood recently came together to remember former pupil Evani, who sadly passed away last year.
In September, Ms Barton, Mr Hoffman, Ms Agnew and Evani’s mother Ritu completed the Shine Marathon in London.
Their walk celebrated Evani’s life and the impact she had on those around her, as her courage, warmth, and sense of gratitude continue to influence the school community.
It was Evani herself who said: “If you only say one prayer in a day, let it be thank you.”
Speaking to NORTHWOOD&RUISLIPnews, St Helen’s head Mrs Ward said: “This is a wonderful achievement by our team, and we are very proud of Ms Barton, Ms Agnew, Mr Hoffman and Ritu.
“Our teachers and parents are wonderful role models, and we are all proud to remember and celebrate Evani, who had been through our Prep and Senior School, and who has touched the lives of so many throughout her time at St Helen’s.”
The walk raised over £2,000 for Cancer Research UK. To donate, visit www.shorturl.at/D121B
