A manager at a Chalfont St Peter care home is set to complete a tough 100-mile cycling challenge through and beyond Central London for charity.
Raj Boodhoo, a musician and father-of-three, is the manager at Chalfont Lodge and has worked for operators Barchester for five years.
He’ll take on one of his greatest challenges yet with a gruelling bike ride on Sunday, May 28.
He’s raising money for the Barchester Charitable Foundation (BCF), which supports older people and other adults living with a disability or mental health problems by helping them to connect with others in their local communities.
Mr Boodhoo said: “Everyone at Chalfont Lodge has been so keen to support me on my adventure, especially the residents who enjoyed helping me plan some of my cycle training route.
“I chose BCF as it is a great cause that helps many people in need, particularly lonely older people, which is a cause very close to the hearts of all our staff and residents, and I’m so proud to be able to support such a great charity. Thank you to everyone who donated so far!”
