A man at Bovingdon prison has been charged for wounding inmate leaving him with head and neck injuries. Marlon Roban appeared at St Albans crown court on August 17 charged with wounding with intent after a fight inside at HM Prison The Mount in Bovingdon (pictured above). The case against Roban, 37, was adjourned by Judge Martin Griffith for a plea and case management hearing on September 11. A possible trial date has been set for the fortnight beginning November 9. Roban, who was on a video link from Bedford jail, was remanded in custody. The assault, which is alleged to have happened on Thursday, April 30, left an inmate at the Bovingdon jail with head and neck injuries.
