Two men reportedly threw an unknown substance at a man in Hilfield Lane, Aldenham.
Police were called at around 10am on Monday, March 18.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “Police were called shortly after 10am on Monday, March 18, following an incident in Hillfield Lane, Aldenham. It was reported that two males approached a man aged in his 30s, before an unknown substance was thrown towards him, causing injuries to his face and torso.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening. Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around the incident and identify those involved.”
