Enquires are continuing after officers were called to reports that a man had been injured in St Albans yesterday (Wednesday, November 4).
So far no arrests have been made but police have confirmed that a man sustained a stab wound and was taken to hospital to have his injuries assessed.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called at around 1.30pm on Wednesday 4 November to report that a man had been injured in the Grindecobbe area of St Albans.
“Officers attended and traced the victim, aged 20, at a nearby address and discovered he had sustained a stab wound.
“He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service to have his injuries assessed but they were not deemed to be life-threatening.
“Officers are continuing to conduct enquiries at this time.”
