A man has been arrested in connection with an assault on Watford High Street.
The 42 year old from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent (grievous bodily harm) and remains in police custody at this time.
The incident happened outside Wendy’s fast-food restaurant just before 6.15pm yesterday (Monday, May 12).
The victim, a man aged in his 60s, was assaulted and left with injuries to his head which required hospital treatment.
