A man has been arrested following a robbery at a supermarket in Garston.
It is reported that cash was stolen from a woman at a cashpoint in the car park of Asda, on St Albans Road, at around 9.30am on Tuesday, January 31.
Dean Pickett, 35, of Coates Dell, Watford, has been charged with robbery and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, March 6.
Watford chief inspector Andy Wiseman said at the time: “This incident was distressing for the woman and I hope this quick arrest is reassuring to both her and shoppers. Incidents like these have no place in Watford, and our investigation is continuing at this time.”
