A woman was airlifted to hospital and a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a crash in Watford on Monday, December 30.
At around 10.15am, police were called to the collision on Beechen Grove, which involved a Yamaha FZ1S motorcycle and a female pedestrian. The pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, suffered injuries and was taken to hospital via air ambulance.
The man has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Herts Police announced in a post on X at 2.33pm on Monday, December 30, that the road had reopened.
