Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash in South Oxhey, Watford that involved three different vehicles.
Emergency services are still attending the scene, with police being called at 9am this morning. They were joined by the ambulance and fire services, with three engines being dispatched from Watford and Garston.
The incident took place on the junction of Hayling Road and Sandy Lane, with both roads still currently closed.
Upon arrival, firefighters worked to safely free one trapped person from their vehicle, who along with another involved in the crash, has since been taken to hospital via ambulance to have their injuries assessed. Recovery is being arranged for the vehicles.
Traffic is also building up around the incident as road closure take an effect on the flow. Hertfordshire County Council Highways are advising residents that they can expect long delays in that area.
